Project-Course Description:
Summary: The Public Health/Clinical EASeL Colloquium offers lifelong supplementary (e)learning and continuing education enrollment in semester-long blocks (16-weeks/block) of highly engaging colloquium presentation series including webinar, tutorial and journal club formats co-hosted with faculty/student clubs across many institutions and EASeL disciplines to advance health improvement innovations. Through enrollment in the colloquium, faculty/student club members also gain advance access (through peer-review of presentations) to content for publication in EASeL Proceedings (Journal) and Conference along with individual membership of the HIIT- CIISLEARNetwork, i.e. Health Improvement Innovations through (HIIT) Collaborative Interinstitutional Interdisciplinary Service-/Project-Based (e)Learning, Epidemiology, Analytics & Research Network (CIISLEARNetwork).
What participants will collaborate on and/or learn:
- Development of problem statements and research study designs, and peer-reviews thereof;
- Clinical and public health case reviews;
- Use of Epidemiology, Analytics & Service-/Project-Based (e)Learning (EASeL) methods to address clinical, community or global level health challenges;
